Valentine’s Day is a special time for showing love and gratitude to those closest to us, and what better way to do that than with a fun and delicious treat from Baketivity! Whether you’re a parent looking for a fun activity to make with your kids or a teacher looking for a sweet classroom surprise, these Valentine’s Day Cookie Pops are sure to put a smile on every face. So let’s get started and prepare something sweet and festive to share with the ones we love!

Time: 25 minutes
Yield: 8-10 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup colored candy melts (you can use pink or red for valentines day)
  • 2 Tbsp. another color candy melt
  • 8-10 sandwich cookies (your favorite kind)
  • Sprinkles

Directions:

1. Prepare a cookie sheet fit with parchment paper then place your favorite kind of sandwich cookie a couple inches apart onto the cookie sheet. When picking out which cookie you want to use, make sure to consider the fact that you will need to place a cake pop stick through the center! Any cookie that has a cream filling will do.

2. Carefully place cake pop sticks in the center of the cookie. Be gentle with this step to help avoid breaking the cookies. Only insert the cake pop stick about halfway through the cookie.

3. Melt down your desired color of candy melts in 30 second intervals mixing between each time until fully melted. You can also use chocolate for this step if you prefer not to use candy melts.

4. Take your time slowly dipping each cookie pop in the candy melts while letting the excess candy melts drip off before placing back onto the prepared cookie sheet. Continue this process for each cookie.

5. Add some festive sprinkles or drizzle on another color candy melt on top of your coated cookie pops.

6. Let the cookie pops set in the fridge for about 10 minutes.

7. Enjoy![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
