Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup melted caramels (soft)
- 4 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- handful of chopped caramel candies (soft)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper then set aside.
- In a medium sized bowl whisk together the butter and both sugars until smooth.
- Add the vanilla and 2 eggs. Continue to whisk until everything is nice and smooth.
- Melt down 1/4 cup of caramel candies then add to the wet ingredients. Whisk until the caramel is fully combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet, the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
- Once the dough has come together, fold in the chopped caramel candies.
- Scoop the dough in 2 Tbsp. sized scoops and bake for 8-12 minutes or until golden brown.
