We made the pull-apart panda cupcakes and they were fun to make and tasTy. Just wish the kit contained the cupcake liners. Also, ThE panda in the picture had a much bigger face than the one that was included with the kit, which was almost too small.

My 9yo was able to follow the directions independently thanks to color coding. She was able to do all of the steps independently that were not marked as requiring parent help. She was so proud of herself. This kit was great! We’re huge fans!

My 5 year old loves to cook and bake and he just shouted with joy when he opened the box. He was amazed by every little item; and it also makes it easier for me as I am not a baker/person.
I like to have all the ingredients for each recipe along with the instructions.

My granddaughter received her first shipment of the red velvet cupcakes. The shipping did take a while. But she really enjoyed the whole process. She said that the cupcakes were delicious!

The whole box is a cool thing by itself. There were a few minor things that I found a bit annoying. First, there wasn’t an altitude adjustment which had me getting a different result from what the final product was. Second, the instructions were a bit too specific. When I was following the instructions I found that there were a lot of steps that seems unnecessary. Third, the setup measuring size wasn’t clear. When it said to get a large bowl, the total size of the actual flour mixture was less than a cup. The other thing is that there are no instructions on if too often butter or what kind of measuring cups. All of these are minor things that I could get through but I think that they could change. Overall, this is a good box but could improve a little bit on it (maybe an altitude adjustment).

This is my 8-year-old’s favorite Christmas gift. Everything has turned out delicious. She is learning how to self-adjust when things don’t work out as planned (as expected when baking) and how to apply different baking techniques. She loves the monthly surprise in our mailbox, and I love that she is also taking accountability for the prep and clean-up.

My granddaughter has been doing these for three years. She still gets excited when the box arrives. Instructions are clear and easy to understand. She enjoys the independence of being able to make something for her family “on her own” with minimal adult assistance needed. I love that other than the basics which are in most households everything comes in the box. Well done, Baketivity !

Our 6 year old granddaughter loves these kits, and can’t wait for them to arrive every month.
The only caveat – I happened to place our orginal 6 month order on the 10th of the month (Baketivity’s shipping day) which resulted in a two month lag between orders, once.
Very highly recommended.
