These tasty little Tarts are the perfect way to get your little ones excited in the kitchen. Not only is this a simple, easy, and delicious treat to make with the whole family, but they’re made with only 3 ingredients. So what are you waiting for?! Let’s dive into this delicious recipe together![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Ingredients:

  • Store bought pie crust
  • Fruit pie filling of your choice (blueberry, cherry, apple, etc.)
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and grease a mini cupcake pan with nonstick spray. Set aside. 
  2. Use a  flower cookie cutter to cut out as many flowers as you can from the pie crust. You can re roll the scraps to use up all of the pie crust dough so nothing goes to waste. 
  3. Place the flower pie crusts into every other mini cupcake pan slot. Placing them in every other slot will allow of the flowers to expand a bit while baking without being too close together and sticking.
  4. Gently press the center of the flower down into the pan, but not too deep to poke a hole in the center, but just enough to create a small well to place the filling. 
  5. Scoop about 2 Tbsp. of pie filling into the center of each flower. You can use any flavor filling you wish, we went with blueberry!
  6. Bake these mini tarts for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let the tarts cool completely, then lightly dust with confectioner’s sugar.
  8. Enjoy with a tea party, picnic, or however you wish!
