This recipe is a vanilla cupcake with a mixed berry compote filling topped with red, white and blue swirled icing. This recipe is a bit more complex than some of the other recipes we’ve shared in the past but it is SO worth it!
I made sure to include variations so this recipe can accommodate everyone that decides to try it out. For example, if you don’t have piping bags on hand at home you can just use ziplock bags. If you don’t have a large star tip for piping you can either just pipe with no tip or use a butterknife to spread your frosting. In short, this recipe is for ALL the bakers out there! I hope you all enjoy these delicious cupcakes and have as much fun as I did baking them :)
