As you bake with your children this week, strike up a conversation about leadership!

First, ask what makes someone a good leader.

Talk about important qualities in a leader. What qualities do kids see in their favorite teachers or coaches? Are they responsible, kind, and good listeners?

Next, discuss a time your child has been in a leadership role.

What qualities helped them be a good leader? What did they find challenging?

Finally, talk about the impact leaders have on others.
