  • 12-15 crackers
  • ¼ cup cream cheese
  • Handful cherry tomatoes
  • Handful black olives
  • 5-10 sprigs of chive
  • 1 Tbsp. balsamic glaze

Directions:

  1. Remove the cream cheese from the fridge to soften for about 10 minutes. This will make it much easier to spread.
  2. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half the long way until they are all cut in half. Set aside to use later.
  3. Slice the black olives in half the short way until they are all cut in half. Set these aside too.
  4. Slice the chives in about 1 inch strips, these will be the little antenas. Set aside.
  5. Spread an even layer of cream cheese on top of your favorite cracker. You can spread as much as you’d like. If you or your little ones aren’t a fan of cream cheese, try using hummus!
  6. Place two halved tomatoes on top of the cracker to create the wings. Use the video as a reference while assembling these crackers.
  7. Place a halved olive on top of the cracker right above where the two wings meet.
  8. Place two small sprigs of chives coming out of the olive.
  9. Pour the balsamic glaze in a small dish then use a toothpick to dip in the balsamic glaze then onto the tomatoes to create small polka dots all over.
  10. Enjoy! Find the full tutorial here!
