[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] A healthy treat for the whole family!

Introducing a delicious and healthy homemade orange popsicle recipe that’s perfect for kids! Made with fresh oranges and not a lot of sugar, this frozen treat is a refreshing and guilt-free way to cool down on a hot day. Not only is it easy to make, but it’s also packed with vitamin C and other nutrients, making it a great snack option for growing children.

This recipe is easy and kid-friendly, and the result is a festive and tasty dessert that everyone will love. So put on your aprons, grab your ingredients, and let’s get baking!

Time: 7 + hours
Yield: 6 popsicles

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups fresh squeezed orange juice (5-7 oranges)

½ cup water

¼ cup granulated sugar

Sliced strawberries (optional)

Directions:

  1. Slice each orange in half then squeeze out as much juice as possible.
  2. Once you’ve squeezed enough oranges to have 1 ½ cups, pour it into a larger bowl with a spout.
  3. Add the water and sugar to the orange juice and stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and top off the mold with the popsicle sticks. If you want to add strawberries, slice a couple strawberries into thin pieces and drop into the popsicle molds.
  5. Move the filled popsicle molds to the freezer and let freeze for 6 hours or overnight.
  6. After at least 6 hours of freezing, run the outside of the popsicle molds under hot water to loosen them up. This will make it easier to pull them out of the molds.
  7. Enjoy!
