Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 5 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350° F and line a 9″ x 13″ pan with parchment paper and grease with non stick spray.
- In a double boiler, melt together 2 cups of the semi sweet chocolate chips and butter. Continue to stir the chocolate and butter together making sure that they are combining nicely.
- Once the chocolate and butter are completely melted, remove from heat and stir in the sugar and brown sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Once the chocolate mixture has had a few minutes to cool down, whisk in the eggs one at a time whisking between each addition.
- Add the vanilla to the chocolate mixture once the eggs have all been incorporated.
- Add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture by offend it in with a wooden spoon.
- Stir the remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips throughout the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center has formed and does not jiggle when the pan is shaken.
- Let the brownies cool before slicing and enjoy!
