BOO! The spookiest time of year is back and we are more than ready to show you the cutest way to surprise your guests! This recipe is definitely different from our usual sweets but it is so much fun and a great way to get your kids to eat their veggies. Feel free to substitute any of the veggies or dip in here to ones that you’d prefer. And as always, share your creations with us on Facebook and Instagram and our Facebook group page, The Baketivity Community! Have fun and enjoy!

Make sure to store this veggie platter in the fridge until it is time to serve and enjoy! :)

Ingredients:

  • 10-15 slices of cucumber
  • 4 carrots
  • A handful of cauliflower
  • 2-4 stalks of celery
  • 10-12 green pepper slivers
  • 2 green olives
  • 3/4 cups ranch
  • Serving platter
  • ramekin

Directions:

  1. Begin by washing all of your veggies to make sure they are cleaned and ready to go, then pat them dry.
  2. Slice up the cucumbers, cauliflower, celery and peppers then set aside.
  3. Pour the ranch dressing into a ramekin and place two green olives on top. These are the eyes for the skeleton.
  4. Slice up a sliver of green pepper in very small strips to create the mouth. Place the mouth below the eyes inside the ramekin.
  5. To begin your skeleton, begin by laying a line of cucumber slices down then place the ramekin at the top of your serving platter. Use the picture as a guide while assembling your skeleton.
  6. Place down the slivers of green peppers that are acting as the ribs.
  7. Next, use the celery, carrots and cauliflower to create the collarbone and arms.
  8. Lastly, use the remaining cauliflower and celery to complete the bottom half of your skeleton.
  9. Feel free to move things around or add more veggies to get it just right.
  10. Have fun ad enjoy!
